Together with Jacco we examined the issue and came to the conclusion that is has to do with SSIS and handling unicode-nonunicode conversion between Oracle and SQL Server.
issue probably has to do with setup of SSIS in relation to the connections with Oracle.

In the past a former employee from Dümmen managed to do a propper installation.
Hopefully he can assist with solving the problem with SSIS.

The WhereScape RED software is not the issue in this case. RED only generates the SSIS package using the default settings from de SSIS installation.

If the problem with SSIS can't be solved an alternative is to use the Native ODBC load from WhereScape RED. This functionality works fine and is proven to be stable.
